We Love The Con Day!

This year, the local community supporting Anime Evolution held "We Love The Con Day" to hype up the community for the 2010 convention year. It was held at Stanley Park miniature train picnic area on a gorgeous sunny day. Many local con-goers and supporters were in attendance with over 80 people present. Activities included Whose Line Is It Anyway? Anime Edition, half litre football, sneaky statues, an abbreviated cos-play contest and Pip's Improv, along with the usual meet-up happenings. Anime Evolution's Lord Dolphin was present to give away a gold pass by means of a pop quiz contest. Kirby Kandy was the lucky winner of an Anime Evolution 2010 Gold Pass. Congratulations!

Anime Evolution visits GottaCon 2010!

Anime Evolution took a trip to Vancouver Island this weekend to take part in Victoria's premier gaming convention: GottaCon. Now in its' second year, GottaCon featured a large assortment of tabletop, console and LAN based gaming, along with like-minded dealers and sponsors, and over 800 attendees! We did our part to join in the fun too, hosting their first costume contest, along with giving away free T-Shirts and other items. We look forward to being there again in 2011 for their third year running, February 4th to 6th!
